eNotaryPublic.ca is operated by LawTech Inc. We built and operate the platform that helps people book a notary or lawyer, verify their identity, and securely share documents online.
The legal and notarial services are provided by independent licensed professionals, not by LawTech Inc. Each professional is responsible for their own services, advice, and professional obligations.
LawTech Inc. provides the technology and administrative support behind each appointment, including bookings, identity verification, secure document sharing, and related workflows.
What we are — and are not
Plain scope, no overclaiming.
A platform, not a law firm
We coordinate intake, scheduling, payment, secure document sharing and delivery. The notarial or commissioning act itself — including checking your photo ID on camera or in person — is performed by an authorized professional, who is responsible for it. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Verified authority, per province
In Ontario, remote commissioning runs under O. Reg. 431/20. Every professional's standing (Law Society of Ontario licence or appointment) is verified before they take a session, and re-checked on a schedule.
Honest about acceptance
Courts, lenders, IRCC and other recipients set their own rules. We flag known requirements before you book and never guarantee acceptance. If the act can't be completed, our refund policy applies.
