A thoughtful approachClear information. Helpful guidance.
  1. Tell us. Email complaints@enotarypublic.ca or use the support link in your case. Include your case number.
  2. Acknowledgement within 48 hours. You receive a reference number and the name of the person handling it.
  3. Investigation. We review the case record, session record and communications and may contact the professional involved.
  4. Resolution target: 10 business days. Outcomes include re-doing the service at no cost, a refund under the Refund Policy, or an explanation of why the outcome was correct.
  5. Escalation. If you are not satisfied, ask for escalation to management. Complaints about a professional's conduct may also be directed to their regulator (for example the Law Society of Ontario for lawyers and paralegals).

Complaints are tracked with owner, status, SLA and outcome. We never penalize you for making a complaint.
