Before your session we verify your government-issued photo ID. Depending on configuration this uses a document-and-selfie check by a specialized provider, or a secure capture reviewed by our team. Your professional also confirms your identity live on camera.

For remote commissioning in Ontario (O. Reg. 431/20) we keep a session record including: the identification method used, the date and time, the physical location you confirmed, the professional's name and authority, and the modified jurat wording used. ID images are retained for 90 days and then deleted; the session record is retained for 7 years.

Access to ID images is restricted to authorized staff and the assigned professional and is logged.
